Previously on What Sheridan Said...

Sheridan Guerrette, that restless storyteller with a fire-lit heart, finally lands back home on the East Coast after bouncing between cities, greeted by her pups’ chaotic joy and the humid slap of familiar air that feels like breathing again. She’s reshaping old poems into songs, pushing her book toward melodies and screens, scattering pieces of her story everywhere. But beneath the calm, she drops a fiery plea: stop crying wolf with fake panic and 2 AM “help me” messages, because those false alarms chip away at trust until nobody shows up when it really counts. After laying it all out raw, she circles back to pajamas and the quiet urgency of being her fullest self. But with her words evolving into songs and bigger platforms, what new fears or melodies will she face next?

Woman, Sheridan Guerrette in a gold dress kisses her reflection in an elevator mirror, holding a brown bag. Dim lighting, elegant and introspective mood.

Scattering My Story Everywhere and a Fiery Plea to Stop Crying Wolf Before It Costs

It’s another brutal week of summer, and every time I open my front door, I stop in my tracks and ask myself whether my sanity is really worth this heat. I actually don’t mind the sun beating down; give me a hundred degrees, and I will breathe through it without flinching. But sweat is a different story. If you didn’t know this about me, I refuse to go to the gym or do anything that might send moisture dripping down my back, because on the rare occasion that I do break a sweat, I want to tear my own fricken skin off. It is that itchy. I think I am allergic to my own sweat, and if that is not a perfect excuse to avoid public sweating, I do not know what is.
